Percepción del Arbolado Urbano en Ciudades Intermedias del Sur Global: Una revisión crítica desde el Buen Vivir

Resumen

El arbolado urbano provee servicios ecosistémicos, resiliencia climática y bienestar psicosocial; sin embargo, persiste una fractura entre su valoración técnica y la percepción comunitaria, especialmente en ciudades intermedias del Sur Global. Esta revisión sistemática examina la desconexión socioecológica, el Trastorno por Déficit de Naturaleza (TDN) -formulado por Louv (2005), ausente del DSM-5 y la CIE-11- y el Buen Vivir como marco de biocracia para la gobernanza verde. Siguiendo los lineamientos PRISMA 2020, se consultaron Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, Redalyc y PubMed (2010-2024); 63 estudios cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. El hallazgo más significativo revela que el 86% de la evidencia proviene del Norte Global. En el Sur, el 78% de la percepción negativa obedece a diservicios no gestionados y baja alfabetización ecológica; el TDN amplifica la intolerancia hacia la infraestructura verde hasta en un 40%. Se identifican lagunas empíricas sobre el Buen Vivir, configurando una agenda de investigación andina transdisciplinaria.

Carvajal-Benavides, José Gabriel, Universidad Técnica del Norte

Nació en Ibarra-Ecuador, Ingeniero Forestal, Magíster en Pedagogía de Formación Técnica y Profesional y, Magíster en Educación y Desarrollo Social. Docente investigador de tiempo completo en la Universidad Técnica del Norte, Facultad de Ingeniería en Ciencias Agropecuarias y Ambientales. Su trayectoria combina la ciencia forestal con la educación superior, integrando experiencia en manejo diversificado de los PFNM y de los recursos forestales maderables de manera sostenible en los territorios de comunidades, pueblos y nacionalidades, combinado acertadamente con la innovación pedagógica. Ha dirigido tesis de grado y postgrado, participó en múltiples proyectos de investigación, publicación de libros y artículos indexados. Resalta la investigación aplicada y la formación de nuevas generaciones de profesionales y fomenta además el desarrollo regenerativo. El enfoque académico y científico refleja una visión integral que contribuye a fortalecer la educación y cultura forestal desde la ciencia, la bioética y la sostenibilidad como pilares de un futuro regenerativo.
