Innovación educativa en Educación Superior: tendencias investigativas sistematizadas entre los años 2013 y 2025

La innovación educativa en la educación superior ha sido ampliamente estudiada, pero persiste la falta de una sistematización integral y longitudinal que permita comprender la evolución de sus tendencias en la última década. Este artículo aborda dicha brecha mediante una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura siguiendo las directrices de la Declaración PRISMA, con el fin de garantizar rigor metodológico y confiabilidad en los resultados. La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Scopus y Web of Science, identificando inicialmente 3.675 documentos. Tras aplicar criterios de inclusión y exclusión (idioma, acceso abierto, pertinencia temática y temporalidad 2013-2025), se seleccionaron 395 artículos para el análisis final. Los resultados muestran que la innovación educativa es un concepto amplio y en constante transformación, que integra metodologías activas, aprendizaje colaborativo, educación basada en competencias, gamificación y tecnologías digitales vinculadas a la educación 4.0. También se evidencia un creciente interés por la incorporación de herramientas de la industria 4.0 y modalidades híbridas, virtuales y presenciales. El mapeo bibliométrico realizado con VOSviewer permitió identificar siete clústeres temáticos que reflejan las principales líneas de investigación y proyecciones futuras. Se concluye que la innovación educativa constituye un campo estratégico para orientar políticas institucionales y públicas en educación superior.
